THE local government unit of General Trias City in Cavite has reactivated its Electronic Business One Stop Shop (EBOSS) for fast processing of city taxes.
In a social media post, the LGU said E-BOSS will start from January 5 to February 13, 2026 from 8a.m. to 5p.m. at the General Trias Cultural and Convention Center in Bgy. Sampalukan.
Romel Olimpo, head of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), said that for the renewal of the LGU integrated permit, one may apply online and submit the requirements using GenTri eBOSS at https://egovcityofgeneraltrias.ph/bpl/ and wait for approval and tax order of payment.
The LGU warned against scammers who are calling or texting and asking for money from e-wallet to process the permit.
“The city government has nothing to do with this,” Olimpo said.
According to Olimpo, those who will pay their annual Real Properry Tax or (RPT) can still avail of a 20 percent discount until January 20, 2026, while a 10 percent off can be availed from January 21 to March 31, 2026.
He said the Tax Amnesty is effective until July 5, 2026.
“To avoid long line queues, they can use online processing,” Olimpo added.
Earlier, the local government of General Trias led by Mayor Luis Ferrer IV and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen turned over two new Toyota Hiace vans to the City Treasurer’s Office and a Mitsubishi L300 FB van to the Business Permit and Licensing Office Olimpo for quick response during the city’s tax payment period.
The vehicles can also be used to send notices for more effective tax collection and other operations.
