PAMPANGA TOWN POLICE STRENGTHENS BARANGAY PARTNERSHIP THROUGH JBM PATROL SYSTEM

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Peñaranda Municipal Police Station has strengthened its partnership with barangay peacekeepers through the JBM Patrol System.

Last Monday (Sept. 28), the Peñaranda Municipal Police Station distributed JBM Patrol System shirts to barangay tanods from the town’s 10 villages during the flag-raising ceremony in Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija.

The shirts were distributed during the flag-raising ceremony in Peñaranda attended by Mayor Joselito Ramos, Capt. Silvestre C. Colanza, officer-in-charge of the Peñaranda police; local officials and village watchmen.

The shirts, donated by Ramos, were provided in support of the JBM Patrol System of Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, which seeks to enhance police visibility, strengthen community partnerships and ensure more responsive police services.

According to Mendez, the initiative complements the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG’s) Safer Cities Program, which promotes closer coordination among police units, local governments, barangays and communities in maintaining peace and order.

Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office director Col. Ritchie R. Claravall recognized the continuing efforts of Peñaranda MPS and its local partners to encourage grassroots participation in public safety initiatives.

Colanza thanked the municipal government for its continued support, saying the assistance would help strengthen coordination between police officers and barangay peacekeepers.

“We sincerely thank Mayor Joselito Ramos for his continued support to Peñaranda MPS and our barangay tanods. This assistance strengthens our partnership at the grassroots level and helps us sustain police visibility and closer coordination with the community,” he said.

“We will continue to work closely with the local government, barangay officials, and our force multipliers to ensure that peace and order concerns are addressed promptly and that police services remain accessible and responsive to the people of Peñaranda,” he added.

The Municipal Police Station of Peñaranda was earlier recognized as one of the Top 3 Class C police stations in Central Luzon, reflecting its performance in police operations, community engagement and public service.

The continued coordination among law enforcement personnel, local officials and barangay peacekeepers remains essential in bringing public safety services closer to residents and maintaining peace and order in the municipality.
