CABANATUAN GUN ATTACK LEAVES 1 DEAD, ANOTHER WOUNDED

A MAN on Saturday died while his companion was injured in a gun attack by men riding a motorcycle in Purok 6, Bgy. San Josef Sur, Cabanatuan City. 

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Cabanatuan police identified the fatality as Julius Cruz de Guzman, of Cecilia Village 1 Subdivision,  Bgy D.S. Garcia, Cabanatuan City.

The injured was Davidson Magdaraog, of Bgy. San Josef Sur, Cabanatuan City. 

Initial investigation showed that the suspects  arrived on a black motorcycle and without any provocation repeatedly shot the victims.

The victims were rushed to the Nueva Ecija Doctors’ Hospital, where de Guzman was declared dead on arrival.

The suspects sped off towards Bgy. Sumacab Sur.

Police immediately activated “Oplan: Bakod” to arrest the suspects.
