PRO3 GETS 37 NEW PATROL, SERVICE VEHICLES

THE Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3)  bolstered its operational capabilities with the acquisition of 34 new Toyota Hi-Lux 4×2 single cab units and three Personnel Carrier Mitsubishi Strada 4×4 vehicles from the PNP Directorate for Logistics.

Regional pastoral officer Lt. Col. Jonathan Chy officiated the blessing and turnover of the vehicles held at the  PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Captain Julian Olivas, San Fernando City, Pampanga after the Monday flag-raising ceremony.

Among the recipients were the Provincial Police Offices of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, as well as the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

The ceremony was attended by PNP-HPG director Brig. Gen. Alan Nazarro and PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., who led the ceremonial handover of vehicles to their respective end-users.

Hidalgo highlighted the timely procurement of the vehicle, saying these new assets are crucial to the ongoing anti-crime campaigns of the PRO3.

“With this additional mobility, we anticipate achieving even more positive accomplishments in the days ahead. The public can expect PNP-PRO3 to respond more effectively to incidents, enhancing the delivery of our police services throughout the region,” said the Central Luzon top cop.

The addition of the modern vehicles to the PRO3 fleet reflects the commitment of the Philippine National Police to continuously enhance its capabilities, ensuring the safety and security of the community.
