A MAN tagged as the most wanted rape suspect in Olongapo City on Thursday was arrested in Angono, Rizal.
Based on a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Olongapo City police director Col. Charlie D. Umayam identified the suspect as Dexter Pilorin, 42, of Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal.
Armed with a warrant of arrest for four counts of rape and violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act issued by the Branch 12 of the Olongapo City Regional Trial Court, a tracker team of the Olongapo City Intelligence Unit, together with the Olongapo City Mobile Force Company, Regional Intelligence Division 3, Police Station 1 Olongapo City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 3, and the Olongapo City Maritime Police Station conducted an operation against Pilorin.
The suspect was arrested in front of 1 Best Recovery Facility in Bgy. Mahabang Parang in Angono.
Pilorin is in the custody of the Olongapo City Police Station 1.
