CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Operatives on Tuesday arrested a “high-value” target and seized over P686,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Balagtas, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Bulacan police identified the suspect as alias “Omar,” 36, a resident of Bgy. Panginay, Balagtas.
Personnel from the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3), along with the Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), Balagtas police and Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Bulacan PNP, conducted the entrapment on Dalig Road, Bgy Borol 2nd.
Confiscated from the suspect were at least 101 grams of shabu valued at P686,800, drug paraphernalias, including a digital weighing scale; a lighter, and the marked money.
The PRO3 top cop commended his men for the swift and successful the operation.
“This is another significant breakthrough in our relentless anti-illegal drugs campaign. Our message is clear: There is no safe haven for drug personalities in Central Luzon. We will continue hitting hard and staying focused,” Peñones said.
He emphasized that the PRO3 remains fully committed to supporting the government’s intensified drug-clearing efforts through proactive and intelligence-driven law enforcement actions.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspect.
