ANTI-DRUG operatives seized more than P75-million worth of shabu declared as industrial water chiller at the Federal Express Warehouse (FEDEX) in Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat, Pampanga.
The parcel was shipped from Mexico and consigned to a person named Guinto Rommel of San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal.
Upon inspection and verification, the parcel contained shabu weighing at least 11 kgs and valued at P75.072 million.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3, Clark International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group National Bureau of Investigation – Pampanga District Office, Philippine National Police Aviation Security Unit 3, PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, Mabalacat City police and Bureau of Customs Anti-Illegal Drug Task Force conducted the seizure after receiving an information from Homeland Security Investigation and Australian Federal Police on a parcel containing illegal drugs.
An investigation is ongoing.
