A FIRE that hit a residential area on Saturday left a 4-year-old boy dead in Bgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.
Probers said the fire hit the house at PUPHA Compind in Urbano Velasco Avenue, Bgy. Pinagbuhatan.
An investigation showed the fire started at 2:22 a.m. Saturday and quickly engulfed the entire house made up of light materials.
The body of the child was found on the second floor of their house.
Neighbors said the mother of the child attempted to rescue the boy but was prevented by the raging blaze.
An investigation is ongoing on what started the fire.
