POLICE arrested a couple for allegedly producing and selling fake government identification cards in an operation in Valenzuela City.
Nabbed were alias “Marlon,” 44, and his wife alias “Liza,” 40.
The couple were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City.
Authorities said the couple forged government IDs, which were being sold online from P40 to P1,000.
Seized from the suspects were over 300 fake government-issued identification cards, including PhilHealth, Social Security System (SSS), Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID), Taxpayer Identification Number(TIN), and Driver’s licenses.
Also confiscated were forging tools, and a printer.
The arrested suspects are facing charges of falsification of documents in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
